The fablab of Caen (Le Dôme) has a ShopBot CNC router.

My wife needed a bedside table.

What could be better? So I drew several designs of the table. After some hesitation, we finally selected one and I was now able to create the CAD files.

The material for this table is a beautiful birch plywood that I used for the Machine à Question V3. I bought a full sheet so I still had some.

However, I rent the CNC for an afternoon, but I didn’t find the time to cut the drawer. No problem, I made it at home with my power tools.

All the wood assembly was perfect. After the cut, I just had to sand the pieces before gluing them together. Then my wife put several coats of matte varnish on it. And that’s it, the table is now in our bedroom. Actually, the longest part of the project was to choose the design we wanted.
